I was reading the free newspaper, 'Blogger' yesterday and came accros a fascinating article on the customs and traditions of Gypsy weddings - they follow age old traditions from engagement right through to the bride and grooms first night togehter as husband and wife...When the bride leaves her family the mother of the bride un-plaits her hair in tears as a symbol of letting her go..
